Set Up Labor Alerts
You can set up alerts to be notified when certain circumstances occur, such as when an employee clocks in early or when an employee works overtime. By receiving an alert when these situations occur, you can react and avoid issues in the future.
For example, you can manage your labor costs by being notified when an employee clocks in early or stays later than expected. You can be notified when an employee is late so you can contact other staff members to cover until the tardy employee arrives. You can avoid fines if employees do not take breaks as required.
The alerts are based on time clock data captured from the in-restaurant POS which is then compared to the schedules created in LiveIQ Labor.
For most alerts, you can specify a number of minutes that trigger the alert. For example, if you set the alert of Clock In Early to 10, then an alert goes out if an employee clocks in 10 minutes or more before the start of a scheduled shift. If the employee clocks in 5 minutes early, no alert is sent.
